The Amazing Zoey!

This past weekend, our little Zoey has figured out how to "army" crawl.  Is that the technical term?  I asked people at my company's Christmas party what they called it.  I heard "infantry crawl", "military crawl", etc.  Now she's getting into places and things I didn't think she'd be getting into so soon.  We're going to have to baby-proof the house some more.

On Sunday we bought Zoey her first Christmas presents and her very own real Christmas tree.  At first she really wanted to touch the branches ... but when we did, she didn't like how pointy they were ... then she would forget and reach out to touch it again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Zoey's getting ready for Christmas!  We're so excited about the upcoming holiday season.

6 Months

At 6 months old, Zoey is experimenting with getting up on all fours.  Crawling can't be too far away.  Too bad she can only figure out how to go backwards ...

Our little girl is also exploring the world of solid food.  She's a great eater, just like her dad ... except for the fact that she will actually eat her peas!  Here she is looking like she has a massive hang-over from too many apple-tinis.

She is 16 lbs. and 9 oz., putting her in the 75th percentile.  Zoey can indicate who she wants to cuddle with, but there's no guarantee she won't change her mind immediately.  Her words include "da-da-da" and "ga-ga-ga" plus lots of excited screaming and exclamations.

We're looking forward to celebrating her first Christmas soon.  Hopefully we can get a tree this weekend.  Happy Holidays, everyone!
